Research has shown that the performance of technology organizations mainly depends on four key metrics: Deployment frequency, cycle time, MTTR, and change/failure rate. But how can we collect this data? This talk presents methods and tools used to obtain these metrics for the software delivery process of our major SaaS product.
We interpret the results and discuss how the continuous observation of these metrics can guide performance improvements.
